🇮🇳 Maharashtrian Food in Sydney
Sydney's first dedicated Maharashtrian restaurant.
From the bustling gullies of Mumbai to Church Street, Parramatta — Mumbaicha Vadapav brings you the flavours of Maharashtra, cooked the way our families cook at home.
A cuisine that's more than curry
Maharashtrian cuisine is bold, coastal and unapologetically spicy. Think fiery Misal Pav from Kolhapur, buttery Pav Bhaji born on Mumbai's docks, Vada Usal from Pune's tea stalls, and Ragda Panipuri from the beach chaat carts of Girgaon.
Sydney has plenty of North Indian and South Indian restaurants — but Maharashtrian food is rarely done right. We opened Mumbaicha Vadapav to change that.
Recipes passed down, not adapted
We don't tone down the spice for Sydney palates. Our garlic chutney burns, our misal sweats, our chai is properly cutting. It's food made with pyaar (love) — the way it's meant to taste.
